Employment

World Aircraft Delivery rarely reposition planes nationally because any pilot building hours or "flying for food" can do that for a lot less money than we can.  Our company ferries aircraft internationally for a living. We only use experienced ferry pilots with 2000 hours or more. We don't employ pilots who are building hours or looking for a paid vacation and we don't employ pilots wanting to do one or two ferry flights just for the experience.  It takes time to train a ferry pilot and we can only use pilots looking for a career in ferry flying. It's generally easier and more comfortable flying multi engine and turbine aircraft. Therefore we can not use pilots that are not mentally comfortable flying single engine piston planes without autopilots on 15 hour legs across water. None of our pilots look forward to these flights but it goes with the territory. So if you fit our employment criteria, send a resume, a few of your other interests and tell us why you want to be a ferry pilot.

We promise not to laugh.
